He’s maybe too young for you, Bryan, so try to find this one, and send him back to Prague.

Oh, I don’t know about that “too young” part. I’ll send him on when I get through with him!

I’ve got a date with two boys from work Thursday night, sadly, British teachers and not Turkish students, but one of them is 1/2 Egyptian and quite the looker besides being among the in crowd of students. It’s an opening.

As the other teacher said to me tonight after he saw the sense in making my huge flat with no other interfering roommates our new party central, “Glad to have you on board, Bryan.”

Was there ever a boy "too young" for Bryan? What happened to poor Homer anyway? Languishing in a Turkish jail a la Roman Polanski?

Dear Rick, I'm not doing as well as I might. I had a massive heart in early June and have been home on temporary disability for almost four months. I'd like to go back to work, but may not be able to. Time will tell.

I miss your daily updates. It wasn't so much that I was living vicariously through your adventures, but that I was fascinated by the ruminations of someone who was so like me but so vastly different. I'd love to hear more of your life in Buenos Aires, a city I have never been to.

I want to do some travelling in December but the plane trip to BA may be too long for my heart. I might go back to Prague, which I love, not just for the sex tourism, but for the wide availability of good concerts. With all those cooperative boys, who are cheap by American standards, Prague still has the ability to attract.

I asked about Bryan because I guess a part of me cares about how he is wasting his already tenuous life. Another part of me is alternately enthralled and shocking by his pathological level of self-delusion. It's quite magnificent reading it, the lies he tells himself are so obvious.

Please keep in touch. It's good to reconnect.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. Please take care of yourself. Hope you get back to Prague soon.

As for adventures, this has been the least adventurous year of my life, and the one with the least amount of sex since I was a closeted teenager in Indianapolis. Not coincidentally, it has also been the most stable.

As for the future here in Buenos Aires, I am starting a business with a gay expat, with my bringing what web and writing experience I have and his bringing the money and equipment. I am hopeful but actually a little bored. :-)
