I enjoy conceptual blogs (I’ve got one myself) and this one is a fine example. [But, beware the annoying adult pop-up ad.]

Clothed/Unclothed presents side by side photos of the same guy in clothes and out of clothes. A lot of them are self-pix. Many are funny. Most are hot. His photostream does the same, without the pop-up.

It looks like most of these photos were commissioned; I can’t imagine the show-offs of the world coming up with this idea all by themselves and all at once.

I haven’t plugged a gay porn blog in a long-ass time, not because I’m not exposed to them, but because they mostly suck, and in the bad way. Most are cookie-cutter blogs with no attitude, no willingness to express or share anything except the most generic opinions or porn: Just photo after photo of affiliate links.

Studmuffin Blog is different. It’s funny, maybe even a little evil, mostly anti-twink and with great taste in men.

With enough attitude for five porn blogs, this one is one my blogroll, twice, and in my Google Reader. Jessy Karson loves it, and so do I.

His old Chuck Taylors

Yet another cultural artifact that would never have received its proper reverence without a blog: Converse Chuck Taylors.

I wish they didn’t cost 70 bucks here in Argentina. Another of the tiny things I miss about Chicago: 20 buck Chucks on Milwaukee Ave.

All the kids down here still wear ‘em though, and somewhere, up there or down there, Joey Ramone is smiling.
