Juan — whom I’ll call Juanito from now on to distinguish him from my Mexican flatmate and cooking student Juan — and I had planned on getting together last Wednesday but I was too busy. He called me three times in the interim and texted me once, scolding me a little. This morning he decided to show up unannounced and get me off. I get a lot more comments and feedback on tumblr in one week than I get in 3 months on this blog. Hell, 4 months. Guys actually contribute photos and participate and say thank you. I know, hard to believe.
