BUT IF I CAN’T EXPRESS MY OPINION ABOUT YOUR OPPRESSION HOW CAN I HELP YOU FIGHT IT?

I dunno, maybe listening to our experiences, which ought to be the only thing informing your opinion about our oppression since you don’t have a fucking clue otherwise. Just a thought though.

How exactly does one leave aside all one’s other experiences, one’s personality, foibles, strengths, traits, moralities and struggles with one’s own oppression and oppressiveness, with politics and identities, and focus solely on “listening to [your] experiences” as if you and your oppressed group are the sole authority to be listened to and learned from now and until the end of time, about your oppression or anyone else’s?

Haven’t you arrived at your politics and opinions, stumbling, struggling, through the very same routes using the very same multiple means, as any other human must?

How would this “only listening” be achieved, either within an individual, within an activist or social group, or within the larger society as a whole?

Fascism is one way. Or, in other words, the only way to achieve the subjectivity you espouse is the complete obliteration of another’s self to your perspectives.

I can’t believe someone as smart as you really believes that some of the attitudes and opinions you express under this bitchy pseudonym could ever lead to progress, or self-actualization, or commitment, or anywhere good at all.

You’re angry; I get it.

But sometimes you speak like someone who doesn’t really want any of those things I mentioned. You’d rather rail tiresome academic jargon at the cruel world and the clueless cis folks from the cross of your oppression while your sycophants wallow in it underneath.

You’re a loudmouth, sure, but you still talk like a martyr — self-important like all of them. But it sounds like all you really want is revenge.
